Company Profile

Founded by Richard Molino in 1999, Global Freight Solutions, Inc. was established as a local trucking company and consolidator based in Southern California for the Hawaiian Island Freight Association and Yhata along with several other companies in Hawaii.

In the first quarter of 2000, GFS branched out offering its Hawaiian-based clients national LTL and full truckload services through our subsidiary company Expressway Forwarding. In 2004, with the rising costs of fuel, Global Freight Solutions launched its direct westbound line haul services stemming from several major metropolitan areas, as well as its intermodal division, in an effort to help subsidize these increases.

GFS then rolled the LTL and Full Truck Load division under the umbrella of Global Freight Solutions, making Expressway Forwarding a Hawaiian Freight Forwarder for non-HIFA members. Global Freight Solutions recently launched its national airfreight division with special services designed for the Hawaiian Islands.

As Global Freight Solutionsexpands its business, it is reaching out and crossing international waters with custom consolidations, in addition to international ocean and air services. Priding ourselves on service, Global Freight Solutions continues to stay grounded to its roots, offering personalized service on every call. We value each and every client, and want to pass on the Aloha spirit.
